Who it is for
Passengers booking from anywhere at any hour, shippers with a vehicle or a load to send, and the ticket desks who stop re-typing what the passenger has already entered.
What it does
- Shows what is actually left on a sailing, class by class, from Roble's own seat and cabin inventory.
- Takes payment by GCash, Maya or card — or holds the seats and lets the passenger pay at an office within a set time.
- Issues an e-ticket with a QR code by email, ready to be scanned at the gangway.
- Books cargo the same way: a vehicle or a shipment, a yard slot, a gate pass and a payment reference.
- Applies the published senior, PWD, student, solo-parent, seafarer and minor fares, and lists the documents to bring for each.
How it works
- The passenger picks a sailing, a class and who is travelling; the total is built from the published fare table, with the fuel surcharge on its own line.
- Payment goes to Roble's own merchant account with the provider. iStart never holds the money.
- The seat is written back to the inventory the moment the payment clears, so the same berth cannot be sold twice.
- The QR code on the e-ticket is the code the gangway device scans, so a ticket cannot be used twice or on the wrong sailing.
- A cargo booking creates the yard slot and the gate pass in the same step — the plate is on the list before the truck arrives.

- A payment provider account in Roble's name (GCash, Maya, card acquirer)
- The booking rules — how long a hold lasts, what is refundable, who may cancel
