The full policy
Everything, in detail
Passenger requirements reviewed September 9, 2026. The IDs below are the ones the fare calculator asks for, and the vehicle documents are the ones the freight desk issues — one policy, not two.
Advance ticket issuance limited to 7 days
Tickets are being issued up to 7 days before departure instead of the usual 30. This keeps seats available for passengers who need them at short notice while the schedule is being adjusted. Group and charter bookings are not affected — talk to the passage desk.
In force since March 13, 2026 · all advisories
Minors travelling alone
A child or teenager under 18 travelling without a parent or guardian needs a notarised travel consent — an Affidavit of Consent — from a parent or legal guardian, presented with the minor’s birth certificate (an original or a certified true copy) and a photocopy of the parent or guardian’s valid ID. Bring them to the ticket counter; they are checked again at boarding.
Minors with an adult other than a parent or guardian
If a minor is travelling with a relative, a family friend or any adult who is not their parent or legal guardian, the consent must name that adult specifically and be signed by both parents, or by the legal guardian if there is one. Bring the same birth certificate and ID as above, plus a valid ID for the accompanying adult.
Medical conditions
Passengers with a serious or ongoing medical condition should travel with a medical clearance or fit-to-travel certificate from a physician, dated close to the sailing date — our crossings are long and most of them are overnight. Carry prescribed medication in your hand luggage, clearly labelled, and give an emergency contact who can be reached at your destination to whoever is travelling with you. Our crew can help, but they are not a substitute for your own preparation.
Discount IDs
Every discounted fare needs its matching ID when the ticket is issued, and again if you are asked at the gate. Without the ID, the regular fare applies.

Vehicle rules and the pier cut-off are demonstration policy for this mock-up. Freight rates and lane details live on the cargo page.
Not sure your papers are in order?
Call the passage desk before you travel to the pier — it is quicker than turning back for a document. Fares and the IDs they need are on the fare calculator; where to buy is on where to buy.
