Temporary fuel surcharge on all fares and freight rates
Because of the continuing rise in fuel prices, a temporary surcharge of ₱30 per passenger ticket applies to all passage fares, and an equivalent surcharge applies to freight rates. The surcharge is shown as a separate line on your ticket and in our fare calculator, and it will be lifted as soon as fuel prices allow.

Advance ticket issuance limited to 7 days
Tickets are being issued up to 7 days before departure instead of the usual 30. This keeps seats available for passengers who need them at short notice while the schedule is being adjusted. Group and charter bookings are not affected — talk to the passage desk.

Before you sail

Be at the terminal at least one hour before departure.
Bring your ID
Discounted fares need the matching ID at the counter — see travel requirements.
Vehicle cut-off
Vehicles should be at the pier at least 3 hours before departure so we can weigh, document and lash them properly.
Overnight sailings
About 5 hours at sea. Cebu departures are overnight and arrive early morning; the daily 11:00 AM out of Ormoc gets you into Cebu in the late afternoon.
- The busiest of the three passenger routes, and the only one with a departure in both directions every day.
- Ormoc is about two hours by road from Tacloban, and the jump-off for Lake Danao.
- Vehicles of every size travel this route, from motorcycles to ten-wheelers.
